Dialogue meeting: Solidarity despite differences

Dialogue meeting: Solidarity despite differences

On the 19th of October, our partner, the Dom Pokoju Foundation from Wrocław, organised a dialogue meeting. This took place within the framework of their project “Let’s meet. Everything begins with a conversation” and was entitled “Solidarity despite differences”. It was a bilingual meeting at which Germans and Poles from the European City of Görlitz-Zgorzelec got into conversation and talked and discussed about their opinions, experiences and feelings with regard to solidarity. In the process, the focus was repeatedly turned to the major political crises, such as the Russian war of aggression on Ukraine and the Israel-Palestine conflict. In order for everyone to understand each other and for this interesting and intensive exchange to take place, the conversation was simultaneously translated.

Many thanks to the Dom Pokoju Foundation for this meeting!
