AIDENTITY – INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL
What is AIdentity?
AIdentity is an international summer school in Görlitz that combines historical-political education with digital and creative methods. Young people from Görlitz-Zgorzelec and across Europe explore history, memory culture, identity(ies) and the impact of AI on public discourse, focusing on the history of the former POW camp Stalag VIII A and other connected local historical sites.
What to expect?
Work with historical sources, visit memorial sites and create your own digital projects such as podcasts, videos, digital maps, AR experiences or AI-based visualizations. The program also critically explores AI, deepfakes, bias and the role of technology in shaping memory and democratic debate.
Who can apply?
Young people aged 16–26 from Görlitz-Zgorzelec, Germany, Poland, Italy and Ukraine who are interested in history, media, politics, memory culture or creative digital work.
English level minimum A2.
