Call for teamers for the international youth exchange Worcation
For the implementation of a two-week international youth exchange in Görlitz – Zgorzelec we are looking for trained teamers for the period from 29.07.2023 to 12.08.2023 for the supervision, animation and implementation of leisure activities with the young people.
Project description
WORCATION means creative and international work in a historical place. Every summer, young people come together in Görlitz-Zgorzelec to experience history at first hand in a place that has been almost forgotten for decades, the former German prisoner-of-war camp Stalag VIII A.
25 young Europeans will live together for 15 days in the European City of Görlitz-Zgorzelec. During this two-week encounter in the summer holidays, they get to know young people from other cultures, exchange experiences about political situations in their own countries and think about a common future in Europe. They make new friends, practise trust and tolerance towards others and work in a team.
Requirements:
Completed teamer‘s training for international youth encounters with youth leader card – JuLeiCa
English at least B2
German OR Polish at least B2
Class B driving licence
Interest in history, culture
Available for the entire duration of the project.
