YOUNION \u2013 Diversity in Remembrance<\/strong>

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Younion<\/strong> is an international youth exchange for young people from Europe where they live and work together for two weeks. The group takes part in different workshops during the day. The workshops revolve around the Second World War and around prisoners of war imprisoned in Stalag VIII A \u2013 a prisoner of war camp (1939-1945). Today Stalag VIII A is a place of memory and education for people from around the world. It is located in the European Twincity G\u00f6rlitz-Zgorzelec (located at the German-Polish border).<\/p>\n

Participants<\/strong>:
\nYoung adults aged 16-26 from Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Italy. Registration will be handled on \u201cfirst come, first served\u201d basis.<\/p>\n

Language:<\/strong>
\nParticipants should be able to speak and understand English on a communicative level. The main language in the exchange is English.<\/p>\n

Group life, free time, accommodation and food:<\/strong>
\nThe group will be accommodated in a house (Jugendherberge Peregrinus) in the old town. There will be time to learn languages, get to know each other and have fun. Together the group will have to organize itself and cook, shop and clean and define the evening-programme for themselves.<\/p>\n

Fees:<\/strong>
\nThere is going to be a participation fee of EUR 100,- .<\/p>\n
