This year’s online Worcation will take place from 25 July – 7 August 2020<\/strong>. The participants will be provided with a communication platform. They will also have an opportunity to participate in the programme prepared for them.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The following programme items will be made publicly available:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– official opening of the Worcation on July 25th at 6:00 pm<\/strong> with an online <\/strong>guided tour<\/strong> on the grounds of the Memorial Site Stalag VIII A;<\/p>\n

– Spoken Word Online Workshop<\/strong> by Jessy James LaFleur<\/strong>, starting on Sunday, July 26th at 6:00 pm<\/strong>, where participants will learn how to write texts to be performed on stage as well as how to use facial expressions and gestures to breathe life into words;<\/p>\n

– a lecture by Sabine Kirst on Wednesday, August 5th at 6:00 p.m.<\/strong> on \u201e<\/strong>Hate Speech and its impact on democracy\u201d<\/strong>. The event is organised in cooperation with the Saxon State Centre for Political Education.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All of the events organised within the Online-Worcation 2020 will be held in English. The complete programme can be found below.<\/em><\/p>\n
