\"Project<\/p>\n

The Worcation- project, organised by Meetingpoint Music Messiaen, won the Charlemagne Youth Prize in May and was invited to the European Parliament to present the project to the Cultural Committee from 09 October to 11 October 2018.<\/p>\n

Young people from Poland, Italy, France, Ukraine and Germany came to our twin town Zgorzelec for two weeks to discuss the topic of identity and memory in Stalag VIII A. The participants worked together with archaeologists to create something lasting in the place of remembrance.<\/p>\n

The Worcation- project made a positive impression not only on the participants but also on the European Parliament and the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize in Aachen, which helped the winners to travel to Brussels. They presented the project as the Best- Practice on site and had a dialogue with the MPs.<\/p>\n
