The tour takes about 1 \u2013 1,5 hour and costs 5\u20ac per person (with a minimum of 50\u20ac). First during the tour you will have an opportunity to get to know the history of Stalag VIII A, prisoners-of-war in the city of Goerlitz and entire system of the POW’s camps. Further you will gain an insight into projects of the association MEETINGPOINT MUSIC MESSIAEN e.V., that is strongly connected with camp grounds and fates of people. Last but not least during the guided tour you will discover place, where Olivier Messiaen together with three fellow prisoners performed a premiere of famous the world over The Quartet for the End of Time<\/em> on 15th<\/sup>\u00a0January 1941.<\/p>\n

The guided tour is possible in English, German and Polish.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At our Memorial Site, we offer a grave light at cost of 5\u20ac.<\/p>\n
