https://www.meetingpoint-memory-messiaen.eu/en/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/abschluss-der-worcation-2018-1.jpg960640On the last Friday of July, we officially finished this year’s edition of Worcation organized by Meetingpoint Music Messiaen for the eleventh time in the row. Muliti-national group of youths shared their impresions of the two-week workcamp and honoured the victims of the Stalag VIII A prison camp. Young people from France, Italy, Ukraine, Poland and Germany worked together for two summer weeks, engaging in a living culture of the memory of this place. The participants actively supported the excavation process in this area. With the help of archeologist, Paweł Zawadzki, they managed to discover two night toilets of camps barracks. During the ceremonial, paticipant from Italy, Giulia Morelli, presented the finds to the regional authorites and explained the phases of the obtaining process.
